Snopczynski
Ok, I dont want people just yelling out who did their port work. I have a Banshee that is built around low-midrange power. It has a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe on it and other stuff too. Who knows of a good mx, or low end motor guy that can port my jugs for my bike? Say maybe a gncc or ex mickey thompson motor builder? Bansh-eman
eric gorr is a big name builder in the dirtbike world,he kinda went away when everything went to 4 pokes.. word is now he is coming back to 2 strokes again... he does awsome work but the guys is a total asshole... i said that he is going to start charging people 2 dollars a min to call and talk to him on the phone... ill never send him a part for the fact that he is an irrogant basterd but non-theless he knows how to build a motor
dajogejr
Gorr moved to England...but, I never heard he was moving back. Stephen Clark had some gorr cylinders, and raved about them....phenomenal woods motor. I've never spoke to or talked to him, but I've always heard his motors were the shit!!! Snopczynski
You would be suprised with what people will do and put up with to get the best stuff for a bike. I used to have a JD Racing motor in my old Banshee, I was at Sandfest in 1993 and Watched Jim Duncan pretty much act like a friggin idiot in his trailer with the guy who was riding for him in the world's fastest Banshee contest against K&T Racing. The rider put up with everything, then Jim started in on me for having his motor in my bike with FMF gold series pipes on it. I told him he couldn't pay me enough to run T5's on it. Then I went out and took 4th in the 350 modified class drags, left airplane hill and went on a play ride on the same bike. These motor guys can be a real piece of work sometimes. JET 99
i know jeff is back logged but just to his credit.. i had him build me a low end (as he put it)"....power everywhere..." motor stock stroke,.020 cleanup, noss w 20's,port cyl& case,+4 timing, shift shaft mod, heavy clutch,t&w crank,v3's,33 pwk's,billet internal x-over intake.. 93 octane and it is wicked as hell for a play & trail bike... it aint a dragger or duner... but it will hold its own.. all i can say is it was well worth the wait
Snopczynski
I actually called dynoport, and they said they would port it for me. Said they developed a port job around there pipe on their dyno.
Screaming Yellow Zonker
A lot of engine builders are assholes because they are so busy they don't have time to talk to customers and all the customers call and want to talk to them which makes them further behind. I've been there.

endofitall9
I got my cylinders done by Eric Gorr, some of the last ones he did. They are baddass..power everwhere with 15-41 gearing I'm in 3rd gear allday long if i need the band its either right there or a quick clutch tap..I'd highly recommend him if hes back in the states..He didn't quit doing motor work..he just went to England because his buddy had a shop there and there was some big falling out about the building he was leasing. He did say he would be back but he didn't know when. Also he said when he does come back he'll have a bigger facility and be open to more of a wider range whatever the means...I waited almost 5 mos on my cylinders and it wa swell worth the wait!...they rip! Josh **Also forgot to mention.. Eric Gorr was cool as shit with me laid back guy no attitude and asnwered every question I had..Also He bored my jugs and gave me me a .40 wiseco piston set for $80 because it took him so long to get me my cylinders then when they got mixed up in the mail he called and made sure I had received them..if that not good customer serivice then what is *****Don't bash them if you have no idea***** Edited May 4, 2007 by endofitall9
