I would like to know what there website or contact info is because I already own one of their see-through gas caps and it is leaking at the joint between the clear plastic center and the aluminum body. I would like to hear from them either how the cap is put together and how they reccomend fixing the problem or if they might be willing to exchange the cap under a warranty of some type.

It's not helpful in my search, but I found this add about halfway down the page. I tried to enlarge the logo to see if they might have had their web address in it.

they want $85 for that thing and cannot even spell Banshee correctly?

lol

Their gas cap design also doesn't seal very well between the see through part and the aluminum body. I am not sure that I would expect them to spell anything correctly. I swear it is spelled with a c on my gas cap................ :shoothead:

I am still debating as to whether or not I need to call and verbally abuse them for their cap design a bit. I suppose the real problem is that their is the only aftermarket cap I kind of like. :shoothead: :shoothead:

I got the black one. It started leaking the first ride the bike took in the back of my truck. I didn't realize what it was (thought it was my vent line or something) until I got it moving around in the truck. The design is sort of bogus, but if you get some polycaronate and metal compatable epoxy you won't have any trouble. I suspect the o-ring material they use is not compatable with alcohol fuels either, the plastic however is fine.

I enjoy the gas cap enough that I will probably buy another one. I still may call and give a customer service person at Pro-Tek a hard time though if I am bored at work one day. :geek:

So your going to use some expoxy and glue the clear window in? I guess I will have to take a look at the design when it gets here. I figured that the window would be threaded and the inside of the cap would be threaded. Put an oring on there and scew them toghether. Like you said before though the problem is that only one company is making them.
