bansheefourseven
Actually I weigh about 245 and im only piped and filtered with everything else stock, I come off the line like a freight train in the sand. Sounds like you need more motor, or some better paddles. My quad comes out of the sand pretty well with just holeshots on it in second gear. I tried dropping a gear and it basically eliminates 1st gear as it is so short .5 sec after you pop the clutch your already maxed out in rpm and have to shift again. Once my motor was piped I had no trouble leaving in second, so Try revving it a little more before you drop the hammer.

enFORCER
Oh man, don't gear down. Power up! Pack in a few more hp to make up for the extra lbs..... My gearing is 16-41, I run 22" paddles +12 swingarm and I start in 2nd just fine. In fact, I still must use a wheelie bar...
Jhughes7
I actually ended up dropping a tooth and having the head milled, and it runs like a raped ape out of the hole now.
