Washburn showed me some pipes on ebay that ive been wanting for awhile. I was already watching them but i still appreciate that he was looking out. Well here they are .....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...9294&rd=1,1

Im going to get them blasted and powdercoated high-temp black.

What else will I need with them?

The silencers and pipe clamps correct?

Will the fatboy2's be ok at silver lake? Do they count as a spark arrestor?

Any other info I should hear?

Will I need exhaust flanges?

Dont know what to tell you man-usually with aftermarket pipes you can use factory hangars and clamps.Ive got fmf fatties and everything bolted right up.As for the fat boys-that is a paul turner silencer so i dont see why they wouldnt work. Its probably better to keep the same manufacturers pipe/silencer combo.I dont know what silver lake is like but i hearpt mids are great for a woods style pipe-so whatever thats worth. As for those pipes-i dont know if you like black-but if you like chrome-dude-go to wal-mart in their auto paint section, get a few red scotch-brite pads and some wd-40 and hose them fuckers down with wd and scrub with the pads-try to just get the rust not the whole pipe and get some metal polish and polish them.If you want results you need a buffer that spins like 2-3,000 rpm.Dude-my fatties were shit looking and they bling nice as hell now.If you put a little time you;ll be sportin wood-i was!!!!!That is unless you want black, but just givin ya the heads up!!!

Thanks I appreciate the advice. Ill give the buffing a shot for sure. PT's are known for high-quality chrome so it should shine up nice.

Just need silencers. You can use the stock springs and clamps unless you want some fancy aftermarket ones. You may need to replace the o-rings for the flanges at the cylinders depending on the condition of your stock ones. The regular fatboy2 silencers do not have spark arrestors. I think if you get the ones with the turn downs on the end, they have a spark arrestor but I'm not 100% on that.

My PT mids Db'ed at 96 with Fatboy2's and clamp on sparky's..

The turn downs dont have spark arrestors. You have to use 3 1/2" universal clamp on's on the standard Fatboy2 silencer. I still have a set of sparky's and I was getting ready to put them on ebay. They're a lil beat up.. I'll send pics you you are interested.

My stock clamps are rubber and they are shot. Couple holes in each...

Didn't realize the other silencers didn't have arrestors. Never needed them so never cared.

Stock silencers should mate up if you only need the arrestors on occasion, but if you need them all the time I would find something different.
