00strokerbanshee
http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77740 I started a thread in the suspension forum on the marvin shaw shocks. If anyone uses these or know anyone that does will you give me some input in the thread I have provided a link to(above). I realize this is a dupilcate thread but most of you drag guys use these. Thanks!!
badassbanshee479
they are a drag shock, and they are really stiff! Best shock for drag racing though!
shanYE west
Which Marvin Shaw Shocks are you wanting to know about? I would call Tim or Becky @ Yarnell and talk to them. They are very helpfull and will answer any questions you have on their shocks.
2bzy2p
if you want a drag shock its the way to go,,for dunes or what not they are stiff,,but they do give unlike struts!! you can set them up to be squishy if u want,,,if you have a filling station you can put it however u like! lowriderb
they also make a coil over version for duning ect.. you can still set the shock up how you like it you just have the luxury of running the shock a little softer to let the spring do its work.. dajogejr
JT....what are you trying to say? You don't like how stiff the Marvin Comps are?? LOL... I'd like to try a set of hill shooter coil overs... For drag, they are the only way to fly....unless you wanna strut it. FORGET about a comp series for duning, trust me on that one.... majicmike
Spent the money on the hill shooters for the raptor seem like they are going to work.
enFORCER
I run Shaw's on my shee. And I must say they are great, until you hit some bumps..... Then they suck..... They are pretty much a drag only shock (IMO)..
race-a-holic
The competition series is stiff but the hillshooter even without a spring is awesome. I had a hillshooter without a spring on the rear of the banshee I had.It would float over whoops.Awesome shock. Just give them a call. They are great people. r/atvshee
I've heard many good things about hillshooters. Are they really much more softer than comps? I'm trying to decide on whether to get a set of hillshooters with or without springs.
