FireHead
As the titel states, does anyone know what size the four foot pegs bolts are. I am too lazy to wander down to the garage and take my red bike apart to find out. Plus, it may be useful info for someone else on here. FireHead
umm, i dont know for sure but i wanna guess...i say M12 1.5 pitch That is about what I can remember is that the bolts are something like an M12, but I can remember for sure. I think there are also two different lengths of bolts used on the foot pegs. I am still hoping someone actually knows the diameter, pitch, and length for sure. fox_forma
its M12x 1.25 pitch, I believe all of the bolts are 1.25 pitch and not 1.50 on shees Not positive about the length but prob 1in maybe 1 1/4in Edited April 25, 2007 by fox_forma
fox_forma
in the manual it says M10x1.25 but I thought it was M12, might as well buy one of each, i cant be for sure since I'm not looking at my bike, but it is def a 1.25 pitch. There are very few bolts that arent 1.25 pitch on our bikes

The metric bolt lenght given in inches made me giggle though. Thanks.

fox_forma
if you have a manual it should be listed in the specs. I have the downloaded version and it was in there. I guarantee it is a 1.25 pitch because I had to get one longer than stock for my nerf bars to bolt up. If you have the downloaded version of the manual it is on pg 47 of

I have seen a come pictures of some bolts from one of the Alloyboltz kits and they were ungraded decorative fasteners. I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone, even if I didn't like the person. FireHead
He's right. M10 X 1.25 From my research and measurement I found the following: *M10x1.25 - 50mm is the bolt size that will work in all four foot pegs holes assuming atleast a 2mm thick washer is used. *I have a shockingly small supply of metric fasteners. None of which, were M10x1.25. *The Fastenerguy bolt kit tens to use M10x1.5 fasteners for holes that are 10mm in diameter and where a nut is involved (nut is also supplied with the kit. I assume the reason for doing this is that M10x.1.5 is a much more common fastener size and therefore a bit less expensive (there is nothing wrong with doing that by the way. I also assume that this reason is also the reason foot peg bolts do not come in his kits. *I forgot that I had reinforced the foot peg area on my red bike and in doing so I installed M10x1.5 threaded bosses which I made on a lathe. Pending me having some difficulty after I obtain the proper fasteners, I am satisfied with the solution I put together with the help of several HQ members. As always, you guys are awesome!
