porting is always the next big step for a banshee owner, before buying a crank domes or porting,i would consult with a builder that answers his phone, tell him your riding style, and go with what he suggests if you can afford it. i would start looking into builders before buying the parts.

Like John said, you need to find you a good builder, and go with that, most shops do one stop shopping, and they will be able to sell you everything. Generally you need to have porting done once you do a stroker, either that or s spacer plat, goes between the cylinder and bottom end, so that the port timings will be right with the longer stroke. Also, you will need specially cut domes, but you can use a regular cool head though, the size is up to you, and what kind of compression you wanna make.

somewhere between 85-90 hp

its going to take alot more than fmf pipes and a 4 mill hot rod crank get any where near those numbers .if you just bolted that stuff on with no porting you ~might ~get 55 hp .to get a true 85-90 at the rear wheels it would require very extensive port work and a host of drag oriented aftermarket bolt ons to all work in unison together .btw generally most 4mill ports only produce around 75 hp on race gas

You will not get that type of power with stock jugs, don't care you builds it.

You are talking about cub 421 type power. I spent a bunch on my 4mil with ported stock jugs. You are looking at getting a cubby for a 4mil and 68mm pistons, after market head, shear or rocket pipes, at least 35pwk's and k&n pods, intake, reeds, pistons, clutch and basket. Full case gasket set and seals. Your machincist/builder costs. You are also going to need longer swinger, chain, re-gearing depending on type of riding. You have an expensive road a head of you to get an honest 85-90 horses to the ground. Welcome to the addiction. You came to the right place.
