Swaie
So I looked at the case today and there is a crack right were the cases split in one of the empty chambers that support the motor mount. My question is since the crack is to an empty chamber will anything happen if I put the cases back together. All I can see happening is a little oil squeezes through and pooles up in the chamber. Or do I need new cases? I don't think I can get down in there to weld it but I don't knoe if it will cause problems in the future.? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!! jbooker82
I would have it welded up. That crack can only grow. It might be ok for now but who knows later on.
Michael Jackson
i split my case on a blaster i had years back when i threw a chain, wrapped around the shifter shaft and ripped out a hole in the side around it like bigger than a silver dollar, had a local shop weld it back together (aluminum case) for under $100,, better to spend that now, then way more later possibly
