jlsparky7
Start at 300 or even 310. Do a search for "plug chop test" and read some articles.
fastrthnu
ok 300's for mains and anything else????? anybody??? throw a noss head on it. your mains should be somewhere between 300-320. If your used to riding it the way it is now, you should look into some pods and porting. Jack that sucker up!

qboronyrican
thanks to those who helped so far.......is this gearing that i have a good setup for mostly trail ridding and some dune ridding?
jlsparky7
That gearing should be fine, im at 13/41 riding trails and open sand areas and i like it. When i got my Paul Turner mids, .020 over piston .020 milled head and +4 timming ill be moving to 15/41 cause the bike will have too much low-end. mpbanshee
Going smaller on the front sprocket will make the low end better. A bigger front sprocket will increase top speed. Just remember that with a smaller front sprocket, you will be shifting alot more.
