crazyrotts
Will a swingarm from a yfz fit on a banshee?
CFM
In stock form, no. Anything can be done with time and modification though. You would be better off just buying one made for the Banshee, unless you have a mill, lathe, and TIG welder and just want to see if you can do it... IROOST1
I will let you know once i finish. The yfz rear shock is about 3 inches longer. But im going to use a lowering link to see if it will sit a proper ride heights. I just need some aluminum to mod the lower shock mount. okbeast
The YFZ is a roundhouse yes, as for length differences I'm not sure.

I'm interested to find out what happens there, keep us posted! When I was shoppin' ebay for YFZ a-arms there was a complete swingarm/axle going cheap and I almost went for it, but it wasn't the round housing style and looked purty beat to hell anyway. I still think it would be worth trying, you know stock YFZ swingarms are gonna go cheap soon, and with '06 and up having a round housing carrier, AND a dual-piston caliper, and being cast aluminum...just a matter of working out the shock mout/link or no link... Justintoxicated
Now why would you want to do that the stock YFZ arm is fuggin ugly "looks" like it weighs alot as well. I guess if you have a YFZ front end it would be cool though. Edited May 2, 2007 by Justintoxicated
