I have been thinking of getting a set of PT MIDS but then came across a good deal on some FMF FATTYS and POWERCORE2 silencers that I couldnt pass up. My question is who else in SE Michigan are running fattys and what mains are you running , and what do I change the needle to? (up down or stay the same) I am running the stock airbox without the snorkel due to wet wet riding conditions. The motor is basically stock other than pro lite pistons. How are the Fattys and where do they make there power? Does the power come on any smoother or will it still have the light switch powerband. Also what kind of DB are they making as far as sound testing at my ride area goes. I couldnt pass this deal up so if you reply just to tell me to buy different pipes Id appreciate it if you could at least blow a little smoke up my ass as to how much more awsome than stock the FATTYS will make my shee. jlsparky7 Posted April 11, 2007 Report Share Posted April 11, 2007 You should be good with a 260 unless you have an aftermarket air filter then id go with a 280. Needle on the 3rd clip. Your best bet is to do a plug chop to see. I passed up a couple great deals cause I want some PT mids BAD! i think ill order them next week or so. Fattys up the power from low to high. I think theres a post on here that rates the power for all the pipes, do a search fo it. Where do you live in southeastern michigan? where do you ride? What do you guys do trailer to the party store and then ride down the street to that ride spot? Theres signs posted everywhere NO MOTOR VEHICLES . Do the cops ever mess with ya? Id hate to get a trespassing ticket and get the quad impounded. It looks like you gotta ride aways down the city bike path. What does a banshee have for jetting stock?
