4strokessuck
Does anyone know who makes the 2" swingarm extension brackets that connect between the swingarm and the carrier? I remember seeing them in Dirtwheels back in the day but haven't seen them lately. I want to get them for my girl's Blaster. She's not as much as a jumper then she is a hillclimber and everyone knows how the Blaster likes to wheelie. Any info. is appreciated. Thanks. Using those swingarm extensions is a pretty ricky deal. I don't think I have seen a set yet that I would trust. There are even some retards out there making +6" versions. I don't believe the design of any of them has enough of a safety factor calculated into the thickness of the material used in several areas of those extensions. You are probably better off with a new swingarm. The way I look at it is this, a swingarm breaking is one of those things that can kill you really easily. It's probably not a good idea to be a tightwad on that part of your bike. You are better off learning to ride better rather than put a +2" extension on your bike.

4strokessuck
A Banshee's one thing but this is for my girls piped Blaster. It just makes me nervous because of how the Blaster's rear tires are positioned directly under the tires which makes it very wheelie prone. Granted, the shorter swingarm makes the Blaster nimble in the tight trails but my girl is a hillclimbing freak. The most air she ever got was about 2 1/2 feet and she weighs under 120lbs. and remember, it's on a Blaster. I just wanted to stretch the quad out a little to get a little better leverage and bring those tires out from under the seat so it won't be so wheelie prone while climbing hills. With this new info. what do you all think? If you still don't think it's a good idea, i'll respect your opinions. After all, it's why i'm here. 375hp banshees, what is your overall opinion on that part? Do you think it was safe on your bike? How long did you ride with it on? Did you ride hard? High jumps? Just would like your input because you actually had one. Thanks everyone.

I liked it, except for the loss of traction (which is the only reason I took it off) I bent the rear (stock ) axil & it was still fine... I've done very little jumping & they were small so... I don't know the price difference between swinger & extender (since I didn't buy mine) but for the average rider (not racer) I think they are ok just my .
