hawk363
who has had the same thoughts run through there head about making a small 2 seater buggy with alot of parts off the banshee including the motor, how hard do you think it would be, just a dumb question of the day

Unless you had a really built engine. Chances are the dune buggy is going to weigh more than the banshee. Then add 2 people to the wight. You would be better off using a 1000 cc engine out of a crotch rocket. Way easier on the fuel, better power delivery.

fastrthnu
I was thinking about doing the same thing, but more like a go cart sized one. But it would be a one seater and just about the same weight. I have access to a 2 stroke twin 750 kawi motor too for something a bit bigger. Or Id like to just find an old honda odyssey. FireHead
I think there is a race class for on-pavement shifter carts that use a Banshee or RZ engine. Maybe there is some info to be gathered there?
wesw
i would be running a big snomobile motor like huge twin or tripple to make the power or a busa motor.
squash0069
about the buggy ive seen some done with golf carts and snowmobile motors wich are incredably fast and very easy to do because they both have almost the same drive setup and plenty of room to work with if your interested i work on a golfcourse and have access to many parts wich gave me the idea
