ZillaStomper
Just wondering because I have the chance to get a banshee chassis and a 2000 cbr 600 bike w/ a good engine. I know there will definitely be some modifying for it to fit on the bike but will it be able to slip in the frame without doing any cutting? How much or how much just for the chassis. Ohh shit... I thought you were asking if anyone might be interested. Guess I should of read it a little better. ZillaStomper
so it would fit into the raptors frame fine becasue I do have a raptor and that seems tighter than the shee's inside frame
!TWISTER!
You need a custom frame, not big one, but you need some.
mnduner
not going to fit without extensive frame mods. i was going to try putting an 04 r6 motor in a banshee but the motor is too tall. if the oil pan is within an inch of the bottom of the frame the head sits almost as high as the gas tank. locogatos cbr600rr raptor frame wasnt modified nearly as much as the banshee frame would ned to be Edited April 8, 2007 by mnduner
locogato11283
i say youre wasting your time. its gonna be a big long process to do it. the banshee frame will need to be modified so much there wont be much left of the original frame. the bottom rails will have to be cut out making the engine really close to the ground. if youre gonna do a conversion, a raptor frame is a much better candidate. banshee frame is too much work and isnt gonna be worth it. trust me, its A LOT of work to do this swap right. ZillaStomper
I'm not doin the banshee thing but I still might consider the raptor but I dont know yet just wanted to see how difficult it would be. Thanks for the info!
