notatallhappy
A dune port will be mostly middle and a a little top end with poor bottom a drag port will have no bottom end a little middle and a whole lot of top end power you can run 93 as long as you keep your compression low. However you will want higher compression if you drag port your motor. if you go plus 4 on the crank you will need bigger carbs 34's or 35's better pipes cpi's or shears longer swinger, and at least a heavy duty clutch along with patience to jet it right. dajogejr
Dune port, 33PWKs, 2 to 4 over swinger, 3HD springs, 3 stock clutch springs, T5, CPI Inframe or Trinity pipes. Trails and Drag Racing are on total opposite ends of the spectrum...and it's a huge gap to bridge. Best of luck...
cam2
Trails and Drag Racing are on total opposite ends of the spectrum...and it's a huge gap to bridge.Best of luck... that's for sure. it's tough to have your cake and eat it too. but if it's a play bike and your looking for the occasional race then the dune port would be your best option of the two. the more you try to setup the shee for dragging the further you take away from being somewhat of a trail worthy machine. jbooker82
I'm thinking of boring .40 and 4mm stroker = 421cc .40 is a little over 10mm's. I think you mean .040 witch is 1mm. 1mm over and a 4 mill cranks is going to be a 385cc. To get a 421cc you have to do 68mm big bore cylinders and a 4 mill crank. I got a set of drag potred cylinders by patriot racing that I had resleeved to start the bore out at 66mm. I am going to run 66mm blaster pistons with a 4 mill crank it it is going to be a 400cc.
