jayzx10r
I'm looking for a periodical to subscribe to for articles, how-to's, mods, and advertisers that are more in tune with sand use Banshees rather than the couple I've seen that cater to farm or hunting use!! I'm not a trail rider and I'm not gonna haul out my sunrise Buck kill :ninja: or scurry down to the back 40 to locate a misguided gelding... Thanks for your opinion.... Jay From SanD. FireHead
I enjoy Quad magazine, Sandsport, Sand Addiction, Cutting Tool Engineering, Racecar Engineering, SAE Automotive, and RaceTech. I the latter four magazines are specific to my profession and may or may not be of interest. Cutting Tool Engineer is a free trade journal that caters to the metal cutting industry. I wrote an article or two that were published there a few years ago. Every once in awhile you will see my name, picture, or an article contributed to by me pop up in the SAE magazine as well as Racecar Engineering and RaceTech. Racecar Engineering and RaceTech are UK publications that can be bought at most Barnes and Noble stores, but they are sort of expensive. If racing technology is of any interest to you, you ought to atleast buy a copy of each once and check it out. Those two magazines are possibly the best written magazines published that lend themselves to vehicle technology. I am sure I will grow a bit of a different subscription list in the next few years that relate to my new job a bit more, but until then the magazine above are my reccomendations.

jayzx10r
Does anyone else have an opinion on a favorite quad magazine? I'm primarily a sand dunes rider and am looking for a performance quad mag...not a utility quad zine. Thanks, Jay from SanDiego.
korndawg
Dirt wheels is ok. The only thing I don't like about it, is that they seem to really overhype the quads made by whatever manufacturer is lining their pockets that month. RagunCajun
Dirtwheels sucks. Every sport bike that comes out has "a quick reving engine" and the basic generic story. I learn more from forums than any magazine. Plus i dont see banshee's in the atv mags much. That's all i care about.
