smwood79
I tried the search but have not found exactly what I was looking for. My question is about adding a 4 mill crank to my banshee. What are my options since it is already dune ported? I want to do it right so I can get the most out of it  Thanks in advance for any suggestions................... sheefreak
Most builders will not try to re-port cylinders for added stroke. Best bet would be to go w/spacer plate if you want to use those jugs. Really have to watch your squish when using a spacer plate w/extra gasket and tolerances and such. Installing a spacer plate will make matters MUCH worse. The only way to properly run high duration cylinders with a stroker crank is to deck the bottom of the cylinders to lower the ports and Customize a head mod for this application. Feel free to PM us for details or options. Thanks Brandon Edited April 4, 2007 by blowit
jbooker82
Your best bet is to sell your cylinders and get a different set of cylinders with stock porting and have them ported for your style of riding for the 4 mill crank. Like these other guys said. You cant really work with cylinders that have been ported for the stock crank. josh
