Porting on a 4mill?

Recommended Posts

I tried the search but have not found exactly what I was looking for. My question is about adding a 4 mill crank to my banshee. What are my options since it is already dune ported? I want to do it right so I can get the most out of it

Thanks in advance for any suggestions...................

Most builders will not try to re-port cylinders for added stroke. Best bet would be to go w/spacer plate if you want to use those jugs. Really have to watch your squish when using a spacer plate w/extra gasket and tolerances and such.

Installing a spacer plate will make matters MUCH worse. The only way to properly run high duration cylinders with a stroker crank is to deck the bottom of the cylinders to lower the ports and Customize a head mod for this application. Feel free to PM us for details or options. Thanks

Your best bet is to sell your cylinders and get a different set of cylinders with stock porting and have them ported for your style of riding for the 4 mill crank.

Like these other guys said. You cant really work with cylinders that have been ported for the stock crank.

I am curious as to why you would want to lower the duration w/added stroke?
