G-force or lonestar?

My brother just ordered me a g-force axle for my birthday (tomorrow) from rockymountainatv. It seems like a great axle but the problem is they wont have any in stock until may 4th. I got a coupon in the mail from rockymountain for 20 dollars off a 150 or more dollar purchase. So I can go with the lonestar for 80 bucks more. Is it worth it for the upgrade for 80 bucks and to get it sooner?

Honestly couldn't say which is better but from the stuff iv read the g-force seems just as good. Its got an awesome warrenty also no questions asked you bend it they replace it. And i can back up RMATV they will bend over backwards for you if anything goes wrong. At least thats my experience with them.

I have had two LSR axles, bent both of them and LSR wouldn't honor the warranty. I was the original purchaser.

I have had several friends have similair experiences with LSR and their axles.

G-Force is the way to go. RMATV is the Walmart if ATV stores, they will take back or exchange anything no matter what's wrong with it or who did it. I f'ed up a Wiseco piston during installation once because I wasn't paying attention to where the lower ring locating pin was (while drinking beer). I basically broke a chunk off the piston when I tapped the piston through the ring compressor with a dead blow hammer. I called up RMATV the next day to order a new piston, the lady on the phone asked why I was just ordering one piston for a Banshee, I told her, and she said send it back and we'll send you a new one. If that's not good customer service, I don't know what is.

ive had my g-force since they very first came out.........back when there was no wait time at all.......lol since then it has takin some serious abuse...the finish is top quality and it has never come loose or anything, the axle is top notch and I can't believe it is only $200. Now they even have the g-force hubs for them too! thats on my future list of mods........

Nice! You probably won't want the G-Force hubs and axle, that ass end will be wide as hell. The hubs are extended, and meant to be a cheaper way to widen the bike. I personally wouldn't do both.

PT MIds are great pipe too, they have a shit ton of low end, don't expect too much up top though, but that's all I would ever run on a trail bike. Worth every penny of the $600.

I plan on stretching out the gears to 15/41 so itll compensate a bit with the top end.

my rear wheels have a weird offset on them with the axle set to be stock length the wheels go minus on the stock length and with it adjusted all the way out it just goes to like +2 or something ......weird I know....

Also with the hubs instead of running spacers on your axle you can get the hubs and take the spacers out and just run the hubs  I think the hubs together are like +2 on the stock axle...........

G-force. I like mine. Has a lifetime warranty, width adjustibility, and cheap. The ones that came looser were installed wrong. I would not hesiate to get another G-force.

that is no fault of the axle...

it is a locknut issue.. or install error.

From what I have read around here so far is that the only problems with the axle loosening are a direct result of improper installation or some some sort of general state of retardation by the owner of the bike. :geek:
