ban-shred Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) I want my banshee with more hp and a little more torque, i heard that advancing timing was a cheap way do to it but for trail riding or for a guys that is alway full throttle(like me)it isnt really a good idea...should i put one or not??? ,and when you advance timing you need a high octane gas...i run super no lead...would i be ok at +4??? locogato11283 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 +4 timing is a good mod for anyone, provided youre willing to spend the extra money on better fuel. i wouldnt wanna take any risks tryin to run +4 on 87 octane. my 10mm motor has 170 lbs compression and +7 timing and i run straight 110 octane... Animalman294 Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Yeah, I ran mine for two years at +4, but then I went to AV gas, a little better performance and with the price of fuel here is Cali, they were really close to the same price. Quote
