4stroker
Hi there I have an '02 banshee with FMF SST pipes, & k&n filter. its currently at a enginer tuners shop getting a strong mid to top port job and the head modified. i want to also upgrade the carbs. the quad is going to be used for flattrack racing but also the occasional trail ride/play ride. what would be best? 28mm, 35mm single 35mm? keihin or mikuni? whats the gun setup? thanks, mark. locogato11283
id go with dual keihin 33mm pwk. then if you upgrade to a 4mm youll still have a big enough carb for the 4mm motor.
Crazy05
Kiehin Air Striker. Kiehins are very easy to work on and change jets. You will need to tune that beast when its done and you will be much happier. Every Mikuni I have ever seen drips gas. If you dont shut the gas off you come back to a puddle. My buddy just this weekend parked his banshee facing up hill and the mikunis filled his airbox with fuel. I'm sure there is a fix for it but the new shutoff needles on the mikunis dont seem to last long. I love my AS. Gonna buy 2 more.
FASTOYS
33s or 35s PWKs will work well. If your flat tracking and getting it ported i would opt for the dual 35 PWKs.
