ojcool
This may sound a little out of left field but, check your reeds. Could be a sticking reed. The extra RPM gives it enough flow to overcome the stick and bam, it takes off. I would give the cages and reeds a good look and a nice soaking in brake clean (not gum cutter). Just a thought. ssincity
I would say that it is a jetting issue. Probably rich in the pilot circuit to midrange. Main Jet size? Needle clip postion? What Needle? Pilot Jet size? Turns out on Air Screw? What elevation are you at? Okay, jets are 155/48 the clip on the needle is in the 4th slot elevation is just over 2000ft I did not check the airscrew turns. I always screw it up.. any ideas? I got the reed cage out and soaked them all. there was some ick on them that came out in the soak. But I have my clutch apart also and waiting on kit to get here that I ordered today. So once I get that back together then I will let you know if it helped. Thanks for the awsome idea!
