Warm the bike up good by riding it then put the new plugs in. immediately do a 1-6 WOT drag and hold 5th or 6th wfo open for 5sec or more hit the kill switch and pull the clutch at the same time. There should be some what of a defined line. Here are a couple of pics of mine. These pics it is lean. The 2mm ring is to light in color. That is why it is lean. i just installed the t-6 pipes with k&n filter modified the air box lid cover. stock carbs reeds, and jetting for sea level since thats where i am at. toomey says 280 so i jetted it for #280 for main jet is toomey usually right on with this. is a plug shop definetly something i should do in this case because i don't want to be to lean.
