2003LimitedBanshee
I prefer Tri-Flow. I ride in the sand and most of the other stuff leaves too much residue and draws sand. But, Tri-Flow stick with it better than WD40 or something like those.
Bansh-eman
tri-flow is a great product.. only draw back is it drys reletivly fast so you got to keep applying it if your out for a long weeknd.. but like 2003 said it wont collect sand all over your chain like others will... KlotzBanshee
Maxima Chain wax works best for me. I've tried many others and the Maxima just seems to work the best. But you have to apply it per the directions or it will collect sand. Never seen or tried the Tri-flow though. IMO any thing you use is going to get dirt on it. Clean the mofo once in a while...its called general maintenance.
Animalman294
Ya, everything I use I need to clean it off after a ween=kend and reapply it because it has sand caked on it, which has to be good for it, right

Clean the mofo once in a while...its called general maintenance. Totally agree you have to perform some general maintenance if you expect everything to work right. Otherwise you build on the stigma that "those Banshee guys always have to work on their $h!t..." I will admit that I bought some of the Chain Wax stuff but never ran it in the sand. I applied it, it seemed really tacky so I read on the can and it said it leaves a cosmolene like finish. So, knowing I didn't want anything like cosmolene on my chain I immediately cleaned it and started using Tri-Flow. It's worked great for me for several years now...
