Alex!
I'm in the market for a set of shocks and control arms and was wondering if I need the fully adjustable shocks? I would like Elkas with a resevoir, however I'm not sure if I need the ones that are fully adjustable. I mostly ride trails, open roads etc.. I do jump the bike but nothing extraordinary. What do you guys think?
EastCoast Banshee
If your not a really good rider you wont need anything overly adjustable. Plain old elkas with rezzies and compression adjustment is all you need.
Hollister_Hitman
I second that. Compression adj is well worth the money, the faster you get the stiffer your shocks will need to be. Atleast get the compression adj ones

nomad
I do the same type of riding and I went with the Sport/Racing shock. I don't know enough about suspension systems to keep playing with it, so I saved myself the headaches by taking all that adjustability out of the mix. The Elite series looks nice though and they aren't much more. If you buy them from Elka, they will try and help with the shock setup before you receive it (good starting point). I'm satisified enough that I'm picking up their rear shock too.
