HardIzZlE Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 i wanted to know if you can have hook up a tether kill switch & also be able to use the stock light/kill switch & stock key??? Quote
LiftdT4R Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Most people hook it up to the stock key area. The stock key is ne of the few switches on the bike where the circuit is close for normal operation(normally closed). That is the type of connection you need. SOmebody on here had an electrical FAQ about hook up a tether switch the correct way, if you search around a bit you should be able to find it. Quote

BumpaD_Z28 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 ok thx alot lifted, so now i know i can still use my stock kill/light switch, but can i still used my key too? You can use ALL of your stock equipment (light switch, kill switch, key switch, etc.) AND still add a tether kill switch.... in is in ADDITION not meant to take the place of anything.... I hope this helps ~DaVe Quote
grpark20 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 i wanted to know if you can have hook up a tether kill switch & also be able to use the stock light/kill switch & stock key??? YES. If installed properly you can use the stock kill switch (this is the switch under the lights switch on the handle bars), the key on/off as a kill switch, and the teather you are going to install.
