For porting I would go with RB racing if your sending to michigan, his prices are really low and his work is really good. Quite a few have his work on here. For intakes get some UPP ones they seem to do the job but if you want billet then pro design or there are some others. If your spending all this money you might as well get the vf 3's also. RB racing is in Ovid, Michigan

Think those guys are all in Michigan that I've heard of. This time of year, good luck getting your cylinders back any time soon.

Boss makes a nice intake for the money, with the built in crossover tube.

My builder's always recommended Vforce 3's to me over the 2's, but it seems most are split over the 2's and 3's.

Good luck on the build. Sounds like you got a nice bike from the mods you listed.

Defenently go with the boss intake with the built in crossover and go with the V-3's and get some stuffers for them.

I dont know if he would need them The boss intake has a round hole that looks like it would line up perfictly with the Vforce 3 reeds.

The reed stuffers make the smaller round hole in VForce 3 reeds a big square one.

Here is my boss intake. Really Cleans things up by getting rid of the crossover tube or boost bottle.

The builder who I source for some stuff, james at the banshee connection (number in sig), SWAERS by porting the stock cages and using new stock reeds. He owns a race team and this is what he does to all of his bikes. He does the porting with new reeds for 35 bucks. Good fuckin deal IMO, and Im reallly happy with what he did with mine!!

alright i was just talkin to guy at Alba and he said to switch back to my stock reeds because it will produce more power with the stock than using a after market reed I see one of you have already recomended that as well. The guy worked in the performance shop anybody already try this what was your success i guess ill try it the only thing i could loose is the time to switch um back out.

well, you could either believe an alba rep, or about 99% of all builders who recommend VForce reeds.

at some point, you'll probably find yourself going with one builder over and over for parts/service/etc. when they show you time and time again that their advice is golden, you'll start taking their word on things like this. a couple of years ago when I had questions about reeds, since there are so many different makes/models.....I found a dyno sheet from GPRacerX on planet sand that showed a dyno comparison of ported stockers with TDR carbon fiber petals, pyramids, 1dir G3's, VForce's, and a couple others. The VForce made more power everywhere on the curve than all of the others. Sometimes, there were significant differences. On top of that, my builder and tons of other respected builders all recommended the VForce's, seemed silly to question them and their experiences. Anyway, best of luck to ya.
