Ok, bought a yfz 450 in a box from Braxton. I paid in full and was waiting for the bike to be delivered, 2 weeks down the road I got an E-mail saying the bike would be delivered within a week. That week passes and I get an E-mail saying it would be sent out in another 3 weeks. So finally after 6 weeks I get the bike ( was supposed to have it in 2) The bike was missing some parts, but that wasn't a big deal untill.... I was on planet sand and saw that he was selling the extra parts he had kept to the bike. Here's the link

So I sent an E-mail asking why he was trying to sell parts off the bike he just sold me, and he said he needed money for school. After asking for the parts, he reluctantly sent them after 2 weeks. So just be warned if you buy something from this guy WATCH OUT and be prepped to wait 3-5X's longer than he says.

yep, theres more threads in the bad seller section for him, then anyone else. (i think i counted 6).

even if the issues were resolved over time, there is no reason to chance buying from someone with a 'reputation', no matter how many excuses they can come up with or how good the deal might seem to be.

 

research before you buy, saves headaches.

 

buying and selling is quite simple.

seller recieves money, then seller ships part(s) ASAP. no need for excuses, just get it done and get it done with/how it was described.

Some of you might not know Jankab, but he's on Planet Sand all day long.

When I was having trouble with my cub motor last year, I looked him up...talked on the phone with him a few times...and asked for his help.

 

He's a no bullshit kinda guy, straight up, and is willing to help anyone that asks for it. 100% honest, and has saved me a ton of loot last year and this year. It was his hookup for the powdercoaters for the frame and cases you may have seen in the images section...and it's because of him I can afford to build my 10 mil this year...without that, my wallet just isn't deep enough.

 

I've been to his house probably 5 or 6 times this year, and I can tell you with 100% certainty and honesty that what he is saying about the late delivery and incomplete bike are 100% correct and dead on. No BS, no fluff, no smoke and mirrors...period.

 

I've only dealt with Braxton for the chain I gave him (a 90 dollar, one year old gold X Ring chain) for shipping only. Payment took way longer than what it should've (12 bucks, and I kept the PMs telling him it was 11.15 actual shipping price, just paypal or send me 12 bucks and call it square)...and to be shorted 2 bucks.

 

It wasn't about the 2 bucks, it was about the waiting AND not coming up on his end. yes, he paypaled me the money later....and squared up with me...sorry, still a bad taste for me though.

 

I go out of my way to help people here, many times shipping parts before I even get the payment.

I vouched for davem06's character to bansh-eman for some carbs. Greg (bansh-eman) said he got the money order from CANADA faster than most people get him paid in the US...

The lower end you sent me was junk. The crank was rusted completely solid cuz you left the motor outside (have pics) and (Dave can confirm this) with no top end on it, just like the yfz was junk. The steering stem was bent and the plastic mounts were bent (also have pics), (which you decided to leave out of the description the damn bike was wrecked) And BTW I did E-mail you (about 5 times) and you chose not to anwser or respond to them. From the looks of it every deal you have done on here has been shit just like all the parts you sent me. Like I said your parts are on the way and I have 6 weeks to get them to you. Oh BTW turn your caps lock off.

I would just like to say Ive had nothing but GREAT experiences with Braxton. Yea he did send me a a wrong bolt once, but let me keep the wrong as he sent the right for FREE.

 

He also just sent me a swinger bolt FOR FREE, and I payed him shipping.

 

I think hes a good guy. Maybe he made a few mistakes, but I wouldnt call him so much of a shyster.
