pokeatyou2
EBAY LINK i brought these off ebay i actually dont think this are boss intakes, i am just going off picture i have seen on here when i posted a topic when i was still looking at them there are curves on the boss ones that mine just dont seem to have. also the description says that they have a half reed spacer so i though seen as though im alreadyy running reed spacers it wouldnt put my carbies back any furhter back but they did . they pushed everything that far back that i had to cut my back plastic to fit the overflow tank on . thay moved they air box back that far that i had to make up new brackets to bolt the air box down. also the bolts supplied to mount the rubber boots were about half inch to long and they only supplied 2 gaskets. other then that they are on and look good plastic cut :verymad: old reed spacer against new one to show size difference :: ::

I have has both styles of the Modquad intakes and those aren't either one. Modquad makes their own parts. I had been told by someone that Boss made their own parts, but I also heard the owner of the company died awhile back. Those do not look like any Boss intake have ever seen. Sorry I couldn't help more. I was only able to tell you what you don't have.

dajogejr
Last year I looked at in2glamis for my cub motor before I bought it all from Jeff @ FAST Racing. They advertise a WHOLE cub kit for a reasonable price. I called them to order it instead of using ebay. Even though they advertised it with a buy it now, he said they were out of cubs and on about a month long back log to get them in. Sorry...if you're gonna advertise it on ebay and have a buy it now option for parts you don't even have in stock....that's a shitty way of doing business. I'd be pissed if I bought it using buy it now and then got a phone call telling me it'd be at least a month before I could even think of getting parts. PM majicmike. He sells nice intakes with crossover tubes built in. They are going to be a little thicker than traditional intakes simply because the crossover is built into it.... It's probably not my place to say anything, but that usually doesn't stop me.......................from what I have come to understand is that in2glamis is purely a drop ship operation that really doesn't have anything on hand. Once you win an auction or place an order, in2glamis has to order what you want from their vendor and either ship it directly to you or have it shipped to them and then have it shipped to you. This probably isn't a big deal except that if the vendor is out of stock, you get screwed. Most of the bad stuff I have heard has been related to ridiculously long delivery times, lack of communication, or simply parts not showing up, and other flakey activity. Some of this may also come from the fact that the operation is basically a guy and a part time working lady. I have read about the following in regards to in2glamis: no communication via phone or email; parts never shipped; parts took two months to ship; wrong parts sent; parts not even close to advertised condition. Oh, I have no problem if they don't have them in stock...and they get them drop shipped from somewhere else. But...to have a live auction and tell me he won't be able to get my cubs shipped for a month, sorry...that wasn't good for me. When i ordered my cub from Jeff, he had everything on hand except a "cub kit" which is the stud extenders and water jacket plugs. No problem...got 'em drop shipped and they arrived the day after my cub package did.... So..if he's a drop shipper, no problem at all. But, if you can't get parts from your supplier, and you KNOW you can't get them...well...that's a different story....

Additionally, I actually have a bit of a problem with the fact that he is auctioning items that he is not sure if he can get or not.
