FireHead
Read you own post, that tells you nothing about what timing the PCM is running. The only way to tell would be to put a crank trigger on the engine and compare that measurement to when the coil sparks. Nice try using the "waste spark" statement. Waste spark tells you NOTHING. I was just try to explain how the stock Banshee CDI worked. I thought we were talking about Banshee's where does the PCM come into play with them? dajogejr
From 8:53 to 9:01 to post his reply....8 minutes. Yeah....i'd call that forever. Not everybody is a keyboard racer like you there...ass clown. So...the bottom line is this...when are you going to bring one of these super tuned, state of the art banshees to the races? When, where? Bring all this tuning knowledge to the track...where the BS walks, see how good you can ride, see how well you can tune. And...yes, my 10 mil will clearly beat your little boy bike. So...we can even bracket race. So...you can race the clock, just like I will...where it's all rider skill for tuning, running consistent, etc.... When you wanna run 'em? ojcool
Common example of people who monitor fuel flow on their dyno's: Ford, GM, TRD, HPD, Kenworth, Freightliner, Gibbs racing, DEI, RCR racing, Andretti Greene racing, Toyota F1 (TMG), Cosworth, Ilmor, and the list goes on. You are never trying to figure out if you are lean or not based on fuel flow. You are calculating engine efficiency, fuel mileage, and several othe relationships between other measurements, when you are measuring fuel flow. :shoothead: Once again, these are shops that are looking for things way beyond engine performance. We are looking for power. I don't remember anyone coming to a dyno shop asking if we could tune their car to get better gas milage. Is that what your after? Gas milage. Well I guess in that case a fuel flow meter would be in some way useful. However, a/f ratio would pretty much tell you how efficent an engine could possibly be under any condition. Keep trying. FireHead
And once again if you knew what you were talking about you would know that at WOT a PCM is not taking feedback from the 02 sensor. I am pretty sure that I do not know that as in many cases it is not true. On a road going car from the '80-'90's sure it's true more often than not.

Probably the only thing useful to you would be the comparison of fuel used vs. horspower made. If you are using a gallon of fuel to make 1hp (exaggeration) then there is porbably something wrong with your engine.

So...all these guys tune banshees on their dyno/widebands? How do you talk shit to firehead about car tuning/etc., then mention these guys a few posts later. Seriously....pull your thumb out of your ass and stick it in your mouth....do us all a favor. :shoothead:

FireHead
Pretty sure, or sure... Cause Your wrong. i agree with you 100% except for the part about me being wrong. I we are speaking in generalities like you seem to be, then I am certainly right. If you would like to kick up a specific example, let's talk about it.

And we have already established THAT is not going to happen. I already said you come see me, I'll come see you...or we meet halfway. Do they have sand drags there? If by doing something you mean coming down to your trailer park to smack you....you're right. I'm a grown man, not a little kid typing tough... Again, I covered that...too. I'm not going to waste my time knocking on the camper of mommy and daddy...or did you forget that post too? I could bump it up to the top for you....if you'd like.... dajogejr
God your a coward. Sorry guys, Bedtime. Keep em short cause I'll only read the last page. If me not wasting my time to drive for hours and waste my time and gas to see a child in trailer park row makes me a coward, then you're right. I'm as yellow as they come. Mommy and Daddy are letting you stay up late tonight....I knew it was lights out soon.... Make sure they keep the night light on for ya.....
