theshee Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Anybody have any experience with a G-force axle? I ordered one based on price and availability and just wondered what I got. It said it is a adjustable for width so it sounds pretty good. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I have one in my shed, I havent rode on it yet, but I bought it because a lot of people here seemed to like them, especially for the price. They do have lifetime warranty too, and RockyMountain has excellent customer service(Never seen them for sale anywhere else). Let us know what you think after you get a couple rides in. You don't have to re-jet for that G-Force do you? :yelrotflmao: Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I had one at one point on my 450. For the price it Quote
miner Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 i had one on my z400 and liked it. if i ever bend the stocker on the shee thats what i will buy. it might even come with a locking lock nut,the z did. i had a durablue eliminator on a 300ex and it bent, the z saw way more abuse and never did bend the g force Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 I have one myself & it does come with the locknut, include the chrome, +4 in the $199 shipped. Very much worth it. I run it thru some very ugly rocky shit & it's never bent dented or chipped the chrome. I also catch some good jumps and that G Force is holding up very well. I reccomend it to anyone. Quote
majicmike Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 They are freaken heavy S.O.B.s but they will take the abuse, jared busted up the swing arm before that axle LOL J/K jared. Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Let me be little more specific my friend that bent his did so in a crash doing about 60mph he also broke his collar bone. They are heavy duty for sure Quote

bansheeyfz Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Im thinking about buying one. are they easy to install. Do you only need Your normal tools to do the job? Quote
LiftdT4R Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Im thinking about buying one. are they easy to install. Do you only need Your normal tools to do the job? Have you ever taken a stock axle out? It's not bad, the toughest part (assuming nothing is sezied together) is the axle nuts. Most people just use a pipe wrench, although I prefer the right tools, which will run you about $30 for the right set for the stockers, and another $20 or so for the GForce wrench. Just look in the Clymer, it's not any harder then installing a stocker. Quote
