talk to whoever is in charge of your payments, like who you send them to.

Also I never heard of a repo-guy calling first to repo something. They normally just show up and take it.

sometimes they call, but you would think he would have had to miss more than 1 payment anyways. regardless, dont let him pick it up tonight anyways. he cant come inside a locked area without your permission.

your gonna have to talk to who financed the loan there the ones that called the repo man you can show all the paper work you want to the repo man it dosent matter. the bank is the one that will call him off so go there first. im not sure on a quad but on a car they can even suppley him with a key to the vechicle.and they know where you live and work to so you need to get it fixed or they will keep bothering you.

Sounds kinda fishy to me... I've never heard of them calling ahead of time, that would defeat the purpose of the repo. I would be sure to keep it WELL locked up and possibly even hidden somewhere else. Just sounds weird to me. But that's a great idea... I'm going to start "repo'ing" banshees. Ha Ha Ha! :shoothead:

I've done repos for used car lots before, and while most places will not call you in advance, there are a few that will. I actually worked for one place that required you to ask the person for payment in-person before asking them to remove their belongings from the car so you could repo it. I kept that job for all of one day. I would hate to be the guy that has to repo quads though, because when you're doing repo's you can't touch anything that is locked up, or anything that would require you to move another vehicle to get to.

The best thing you can probably do is gather all your paperwork and make a trip to the bank.

I saw this thread a bit ago and didn't have anything worthwhile to say, but I had a thought while I was at work today listening to one of the guys from the engine build shop telling us about having his car repossesed. It turns out the repo thing was a scam, they had stolen some of his mail so they had his info, they called him up and told him they were going to impound for the bank until he got it sorted out with them. This guy is sort of a financial zoo, so he didn't think too much of it. They came and got the car from, he handed it over to them is more like what happened, then he went down to the bank and they had no idea what he was talking about. It turns out it was just a big scam. :banghead:
