Nuckollsinc.
Well I got a call at 9pm a guy i know just bought a new kfx 700, and they told him at the dealership that it was tha badest 4-wheeler out. So his head got big. SO I loaded up the shee and headed over there. Raced from a stand still I was in 1st and left off the band. He left me at the line when I hit 4th i was coming and he let off. Then we went from a roll stayed even threw 4 hit 5th was in front by a bike hit 6th bYE BYE. Then from a stand still I started in 2nd that wasnt even funny I was gone he never got within 2 bikes. Just wanted everyone to know the score. By the way we were racing in a cow field grass. Tonight was the first time I have ever felt it pulling in 6th. Awsome! Thanks Eric

gipperz
Concrats on the win. But beware of wolves in sheeps clothing, you never know, he might be pissed enough to put juice on it and ask for a rematch.
theshee
If it was a stock KFX thats not much to get too fired up about. KFX's HAVE to have clutch work done to run at all. But a win is a win, next time I bet he keeps his mouth shut.
differentstrokes
I heard the same thing about the clutch work, a friend at work bought a blue special edition awhile back and it's a pretty nice quad. I like how they even come with holeshot xc's from the factory. He says the clutch is made to slip some from the factory since it's automatic. It'll stand straight up with just gas from a stand still and it weighs over 500lbs so I'm sure it's got potential, especially since it's bone stock. I think they're an awesome trail machine, just kind of heavy for racing.
06BaNsHeE
Was your shee stock?I want a kfx not to go fast just to trail ride it,I would leave it all stock just with some big heavy mud tires.Atleast it will be faster than my 4x4

He was stock and you are modded out, you were suppose to spot him... If you spot him you lose! Victory(not in my eyes or by any drag standards)! What happens when he mods equal to you --you get WHOOPED and look stupid . -just my 2cents :shoothead:

I'd consider it a win if the guy thought he was unbeatable.
phx450
Isnt this the 3rd thread about racing a banshee against a kawi 700? I raced my buddy on his raptor with a 686 kit, and never really that worried. Just my opinion.
theshee
Dumb thing is, the KFX isnt made to drag race. It is a cruiser, trail machine. :shoothead:
Bansh88
I raced one up Test Hill at Gordons Well. It wasn't even close. I think they're shaft driven and weigh over 500lbs. Not a race bike.
Swaie
I raced a kfx at St. Joes in MO. I heard he had work done but he was unbeatable out there on sand. Yamaha 450's, Honda 450r's suzuki 450's banshee, others beside myself( I don't know if my bike is running like a banshee should or not) but he was very fast next was the yamaha 450 then me
