ok i want to install a adjustable timing plate my question is what else do ihave to do when i advance the timing? rejet? and is any other parts needed besides the timing plate? thanks

A timing plate is pretty much all you need. You will need to do a plug chop to make sure the jetting is ok. Sometimes you have to rejet, sometimes you just have to fiddle with the air screw and needle position.

Your going to need a flywill puller to get if off. Dont use a 3 jaw puller. If you dont have a impact gun your going to need something to hold the flywill, When you go to tighten the bult down.

Good call. I forgot all about needing the puller. I'm retarded. :shoothead:

can u use an impact to put the flywheel bolt back on?

You shouldnt. you can overtighten it, and then youll need a new crank.

Buy a flywheel holder, from your local cycle shop, or make one. Put 2 bolts through a 2x4, at the same spacing as the holes on the flywheel, and use a spade bit to bore a whole at the location of the nut, you can then hold the flywheel while you tighten or remove the nut.

You can use a strap wrench too, but I never had a lot of luck with them.
