stock motor to good low and sweet powerband hit

got my motor back. case port,woods/play cyl port,noss w/20 domes,already had billet impeller,+4 timing plate,.020 cleanup bore,pistons,bearings n seals,true n weld stock crank,200 w stator,v-3's,internal cross over intake,33 pwk's,shift shaft mod n spring,h-d clutch setup(builder's),k&n clamp- ons w(outerwears),inline temp guage.......

what a wake up call...........

was stock with t-5s and jet.....

working on the tune but kinda shitty weather outside (mid indiana)

i have got it running

still starts a little too easy with out choke in 40 deg garage (10 deg outside)

but what a wicked little motor....

heat cycled it like i was told..

have riden it at easy alternating rpms, 5 - 10 min at a time (warm up a few min)..

and the last couple times i have had it out for a quick spin

i never would have thought that the banshee low end could wake up like that and with (14 t) sprocket.

and the throttle response is quick.

and the pwr hit is a blast when it gets hooked up..

icy patches on pavement is a sideways affair which i aint bitchin...

it was worth the funds to wake up the shee...

it is a blast just cant wait for the spring time..

only thing that sucks is the air box would have been a total bitch to fit with carbs and intakes..

and now ive gotta be chicken shit with a puddle....

and i need to shield the outerwears against the stingers of the T-5s.

i used a hose clamp to pull them over tward frame.

still not comfortable with around an 1/8th inch clearence..

havent rode for more than 10 min too damn cold and snowy.

and no weekend off since begin of jan..

i have a couple pics of suspension, and some of finshed product..

just suck at computers and pics to big to post..

thanks for all those who share info on this site..... :thanks:

That is one sweet setup you have. Power and Elkas to handle all of that power  . Cant go wrong there. Give us all a report on how you like the motor/LT Arms- Suspention package. Set them as soft as you can and do a few laps then set them as stiff as you can do more laps then go rite in the middle do laps all on the same terrain and setup from there and you will be faster than everybody else  Do you ride any motocross or is it all recreational riding you do?

Where in Indiana? I bought my first shee last month and haven't been able to ride at all with this snow and miserable cold weather (plus I still haven't had a chance to verify the jetting is correct). I'm looking for a quad for the wife and we'll probably do some riding at the badlands when it warms up. Have you been there? I'm in Rensselaer and it's about a hour south near Attica.
