Blue Duece
right now i am running 19cc domes and the only gas i can get localy is 110 octane. i know with 19cc domes you have to have 105 octane, but will 110 octane work??? thanks alot have you checked your compression? on a stock bore at the right elevation you might be border line super at the pump or a 50/50 mix of 105 and 91/93............ all you can get where you live is 110? any gas station has super unleaded i think unless you have upwards of 150 psi in your jugs your on super, pump fuel Edited February 14, 2007 by Blue Duece
White06Shee
Check Your Compression And I Think If Its Over 155 Or 165 You Need Race Gas, I Have To Run Race Gas But Im At 187psi

Let me guess. You know you have 180 psi because the chart says so. :shoothead: I run 19cc domes and have 150 psi on each side. Try doing a compression test and then re ask the question. You know what happens when you ASS U ME
dajogejr
Very good point Jbooker. Never assume. Get a good quality tester, a complete tester kit from Craftsman runs 60 bucks. Check it... Report back what you find, but...all I have around here is 110 octane too. If you're at or near 180 PSI or so, yeah, 110 is a good idea. I ran 110 in my 185PSI cub motor with a lot of timing, no issues.
badassbanshee479
110 should be fine, but I would check the compression just to be sure.
