SPark plug lock, where to get one?

Beat me to it JT and Mike.

You should only have to turn your plugs 1/8 to 1/4 turn once contact is made, either the threads are stripped out...or, you are getting detonation.

What is done to the rest of the bike? Timing advance, higher compression?

What type of fuel are you using, and what is your jetting at?

Hello,

Thanks for all the replies, The spark plug (right one only) was an issue before a complete rebuild by Rudy Kurtz at Port Magic. I have not had a chance to break in the motor yet and do not know if it will happen still. I was just looking to get one to be safe, but looks like it may not be needed. I have +4 timing, CPI inframes, 20cc domes, Port magic dune port, V2 reeds, 35 mm Mukuni's, K&N 8" pods, lightend flywheel, trued and welded crank, shift star mod, cases are match ported as well, and runing 91 pump gas with Klotz R-50 at 40:1. any input is always helpful thanks.

you know when you go to rocky mountain atv (or similar sites) to order stuff and on the right hand side of the page it shows other items of interest with links to those items. well, trinity should have something similar on the page that shows the plug locks, like links to new top end kits.

if trinity knows that there is an issue that causes the plugs to come loose, why do they sell a plug lock? why don't they tell people that they have an issue, instead of trying to make a few bucks on what seems to be a band aid product. i guess they figure people will come back and get a top end kits as well. i've often wondered about that.
