Kama
Just wondering, how much do you usually take off when you shave the head? And with 100.00 I'd switch from the k&n to a dual stage foam. If you ride in any dirt at all, the k&n is letting dirty pass by and is eating your motor. It too 3 top end rebuilds to convince me of it, but i learned the hard way. What is so bad about the single carb setup. I'm asking because I want to go to one and get away from my stock'rs. I race XC and I've heard they help low end torque immensely. Everyone I've talked to loves them. Give me some ideas, maybe you can save me the 450.00 they cost. Im going to be running the single carb setup PT Mids and a 4mil agressive low end XC/Woods port. It does help lowend and its a good Idea if your going to be doing XC. You can get a complete setup on Ebay for like 200-250 used.
Washburn
Plus the single carb will help that bottom pop if one cylinder misses witch happens with the dual carbs it will like smooth it out. More bottom and if your running stock carbs it will let you have the same top you have. Edited February 9, 2007 by Washburn

Who in oklahoma does a reliable port for xc and about how much would it run. I race on the weekends as a hobby on a college student income (which isnt much  ) and most ports I've seen are around $200-500. If I could find it for around $100-150 and someone that could get me in and out really fast, I'd love to be able to get it done. I'm more than likely going to be getting the 35m single unless there is a way to tune down the 38m to where it will work with my motor as it is right now. Washburn
This is by far the cheapest Ive ever seen for port jobs. Hes reputable too. Check it out. Stop drinking beer and whatever else you do for a month and save for a killer port job. I know colege is fun as hell. I never technicaly went to a university but I and a few of my buddies used to just walk up on colege partys and they were all good with bangin ass chicks.
