Banchetta
as for the a arms + 2's should work fine and the shocks don't have to be adjustable I mean yeah I want the best for my money , but I can't see putting 2 or 3 thousand or more in suspension when I'll probably never race other than racing my buddies on the local trails . I guess I'm looking into somewhere between 1000 to 2000 bucks for everything . I mean honestly I'm pretty dumb on suspension but I just don't wanna buy something that I'll never really see the full benefits of . I just need them for wot trails with occassional hills and jumps nothing real bad. What setup do you guys think would work the best ? and thanks again for your time and help . I would find a a-arm w/ ball joints. I haven't had any luck w/ the heim joints, they wear and have play within a couple of months....I have the quicksand arms and are very impressed. I don't like the heims and have constantly tried to get him in the past to get replacements w/ no response... If your not one for adjustments, then get the cheaper ones that are fixed. I've never really seen a bad a-arm other than the finish.... just make sure they are made of chromoly 4130. As for shocks, the Works have a really good upgrade over stock for decent money. Get new ones on ebay for 300 bucks. Just make sure they'll valve them for you. You should be able to find a decent set of arms and shocks for 1000.00 new. Washburn
It really depends on how you ride . If your gonna ride hardcore every single weekend or more I suguest getting the best. You could spend less on rec a arms and no adjust shocks but once you start getting faster and faster your going to need all of them adjustments. If you have 1000.00 to spend save for a few more months and get the best. Or at least get the Castor/camber adjustable A-Arms and a shcok like the Elka e36 ride on them for a season save up sell them and get better shocks. Youll alreay have the a arms. If you dont ride as hard as you possibly can and your not looking to drasticaly improve your riding by 10 steps and up go with a recreational setup. banshee30705
thanks guys I'm going to check out all the recomendations , and see which ones I think will be the best for me . I just know I'm tired of fooling with factory a- arms just about everytime I ride this one trail my a-arms are getting bent up replaced them many times before going back with factory , and it's the same thing everytime . Looking on the bright side atleast I got them from a local 4- wheeler junkyard and he gives me fairly good prices , oh well guess you live and you learn all the money I spent on that crap I could have allready had good suspension lol .
