fastrthnu
I think holeshot was the first (x) tread designed tire and they havve always been my favorite. From what Ive heard,. razors a just a hair better in comparison tests for an all around tire as in the design of both was voted best all around of any type brand. Any tire I put on wears out fast. I dont caer as long as the perform well. I have to pay $180 a tire for drag slicks on my car for about 30 runs. But they hook up every time. 06BaNsHeE
IMO holeshots suck. There just heavy tires and hook-up is not as good as the kenda knarlys.I rode a shee with dmc aliens and 13 sprocket and they hooked up better then my holeshots did

Those kendas are good tires. They did good going threw the forest and mud and when we were leaving I asked him if I can ride and I shift into second rev it up let go off the throtle then hit it again and it actually poped up on me.You can still slide when you want and do doughnuts.I know one thing those are my next tires!!! dawarriorman
Since when did holeshots become heavy tires? :shoothead: Ok, kenda makes some lighter tires (the knarly). But ITP still makes lighter tires than anything Maxxis. Personally I like my holeshot XCRs. Maybe not as much hookup as could be, but they handle great. differentstrokes
I have zero complaints about anything Maxxis. I currently have razrs, razr2's, and irazrs and they're all great. I've ran shredder/ground buster II r/a's and they're decent for the price too. I haven't ran holeshots, but I stay away since all I've heard is that they wear fast. I'm sure I'll try a set sooner or later.

dawarriorman
I forgot to add that they were HDs. Oh, I don't count those, they aren't really serious sport tires.
