i just bought a banshee and it is stock besides bored a bit and fmf pipes. anyway it rips and runs great when on the throttle but at idle it lopes and stalls like right away. i know it is a carb problem and want to know what you people think i should try? also the right cylinder does foul out to so i think that carb with the issue.. any info great before i try anything. i bought it like this. but on the gas runs good but just stalls right out when off the gas and when it does idle for 2 seconds or so ots high and then low then real high and then low and stalls. please respond. thanks

this guy has a great post http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47286 . I would check out the pilot jets and needle position. Mabye a clogged pilot or to low of needle. Check out his post it has a lot of info.

hey thanks for the tip. also anyone know if that stock kill switch could do this? i opened the top of the throttle case on the thumb throttle and there is a little button that the throttle hits all the time when you let go of the throttle and there are like burn marks from like a spark jumping there. could this cut the engine out when it hits this little switch????

i will try it tomorrow, i took the switch out and will see if it runs without that there.

if anyone knows if this is like a kill switch please let me know then i think i know why it dont run. thanks

yes i am going to disconnets all them wires, i think that is what is not letting it idle. i just need to disconnect all the wires right?

my banshee wouldnt idle when i first got it , in the front of the bike next to the ignition coil is a little square black box , unplug that piece of shit , when i did that my bike idled perfect , unplug the plugs going to the carbs too and you should be good,
