firefighterjosh
Been trying to sell the 02 banshee for around 2k. No one seems to want it. It needs some minor work. But I am thinking ofparting it out. What is a good running engine worth? It has vitos pistons in it other wise stock. What is a good rolling chassis worth? Please no B.S. awsners! NYUK
just clean it up and sell it whole, the bottom fell out of the parts market, e bay fees are high.and there is 50 people parting bikes out now.try craigslist.
fastrthnu
the best place here to sell it whole is cycle trader. On ebay you get less. you might make about 2400 parting out on ebay. Like NYUK said try craigslist or try locally. If you part it out on ebay you stuff will sell for sure,. but you should note at least the 3% paypal charge and eBay charge so you come out on top. Just make sure the buyer knows before they buy. Motors sell for about 8-900 without carbs. rollers usually go from 750-1500 depending on how much there is and how much aftermarket parts are on it. Hope that helps a bit. Oh I forgot to mention,.. if you sell a chassis on eBay,. almost no body wants to deal with having this thing freighted. So completely parting it out might sell it all faster. Plus you can make a lil more on shipping. Edited January 31, 2007 by fastrthnu

NYUK
the market is getting flooded plus e bay fees are at an all time high, 65 parts listed, and i get 20 deadbeats. e bay is doing itself in. it used to be a goldmine.now it`s barely worth it. If you part it, between here and planetsand you should be able to get rid of most of it, e-bay the rest. I only got $500 for a complete engine that made 115PSI and ran fine, but I wanted it gone quick. In pieces or whole I think your aound the 800-1000 area. For the rest of the bike, it might be a little tougher. Alot of non-engine parts don't seem to be going for that much. I'd say if you came home with 1600 after all is said and done, it would be a good deal, JMO. Good luck bro, lemme know where you want paypal for the tag bumper.
