I have never used the PEP, but I have used the Gibson, and the Denton. The Gibson and the Denton are the same... I would however recommend the rebuildable kind with the 7 click adjustable stabilizer. I think they go for around $140 - $150... Not too sure, but it's well worth the money.

From everything I've read those style dampners aren't too good in comparison to the Scott dampner. Granted it's a few hundred more but if you're gonna do something, do it right the first time. There's basically no maintinence or replacing parts involved in the Scott damper.

Scotts is definatly the best but its like 300 dollars more. Im definatly geeting one. Instead of buying a Denton Im saving up for a few months and am getting the Scotts. Unless you NEED one rite away and Denton is all you can afford wait, save, and get the Scotts. Like Blue Duece always says the Denton and Pep style ones are nothing more than the piston that closes your screen door. With a Scotts you can let go of the handle bars for 8-10 seconds doing 80mph on dirt and still have your bike go straight. Ive heard this from a few other people as well. GNCC and MX Racers. It adjusts on the fly. 3 adjustments there. Top of the line and money well spent for sure. I cant wait to get my A-Arms and suspention put on then I am getting the Scoots steering stabilizer.

Here is why in detail...

I just installed my new Elka system 3. I can't wait to get out and ride with it to see the difference. Before I had a PEP and a Denton. With all the adjustments of the Elka (which is simialr to a Scotts) I would highly reccommend an Elka or Scotts.

Did you put that on a Banshee?? They don't have one listed on their website for Banshee's, only for 450s. Or did you mod one to fit??

Denton is 7 way adjustable, works very nice.

i agree ive had a few of those they actually are worthless, unless your haveing a problem keeping your screen door closed.......the scotts is the ticket anything else is junk.....
