jesse1004
jbooker, I see your from "central" nebraska. anywhere near genoa?
sheefreak
You are not going to see a huge difference in switching intakes. You would see much more improvement spending $40 bucks to bump the timing if you haven't done so already.
highroller355
Yep they make two different ones. One is for stock carbs to 28mm and the other one is for 33 to 35mm carbs. I am running the boss intake with my 33 PWK carbs. It really is a nice intake. Plus if you ever need new boots you just buy 15 dollar mikuni boots. The part number is molded right on the lip of the carb boot. Here you go. They say it is for 34mm carbs but it fits 33 to 35mm. These guys is who I bought mine from. They aslo had the best price. Boss Racing Intake on Ebay LINK josh bought these today . Did it mostly for clean up , just didnt want to lose power and my timing is advanced thanks again
jbooker82
When you get that intake put on you can ditch the reed spacers. That intake lifts up and moves the carbs back so they clear the clutch arm. Another +
kb7kuh
I have one and so far I like it. Like said it does move the carbs back and kicks the angle up a bit. Also gets rid of the crossover tube. Plus they look cool

Just read you run v 3 but what about spacer Edited February 14, 2007 by highroller355
kb7kuh
I'm running stock carbs for now and am going to 33's soon. You won't need a spacer.
jbooker82
You dont need your reed spacers with that intake. If you use the spacers with that intake I bet your carbs will be really close to the exhaust.
