I've been wondering what everyone keeps for tools... What do you keep at the house and what do you keep on you when you ride?

Just looking to get a good list going and see what I'm missing... Thanks..

EVERYTHING. at home i have every tool imaginable for just about everything. for the road ive got 2 craftsman toolboxes filled with i think a 300 piece craftsman tool set. i also carry a grinder, drill, drill bits, propane torch, hammer, zip ties, flywheel puller, easy outs, wire cutters, mity vac and so on.

i also have pre cut pieces of chain in case i need to change gearing to something oddball and it wont fit what im running at the time. got about 2 of every front sprocket from 12 to 18. got at least one of every rear and 2 of most of them (40, 41, 42, 44). masterlinks, tons of jets, a huge assortment of nuts and bolts, spark plugs, jbweld..

i carry gas, oil, tranny oil, hand cleaner, wd40, brake fluid, a couple gallons of water, a couple gallons of anitfreeze.

I put a spark plug and a crescent wrench in my camel pack along with a tow strap. Thats it. At home my dad has a HUGE MatCo tolls tool box. He has everything I would ever need to work on the shee or my truck. If he doesn't have it at home he brings it home from work, the city requires him to buy his own "normal" tools.

As for home, I have about every tool.

On the road I grab a tool kit from crafstman that has like 250 PCs in it. Wreches, sockets, plyers, needle nose. ect. then I grab some speciaty tools. Snap ring plyers for the pipes, special wrenches I have made for certain things. Extra extenstions. and a jack and a hammer. zip ties and duct tape too

i carry my bong jk......sorry i couldnt help myself...  :yelrotflmao:

Dammit...you beat me too it. I get all blazed up...and who cares if the motor's about to gernade on me...I'm just buzzin along...without a care in the world....

:whistling:

I carry enough spark plugs to get a top fuel dragster through a complete series of races at an event, I'm a freak about checking my plugs often, very often.

Keep a spare (stock) CDI, allen head sockets, screw drivers, socket for the countershaft sprocket, 7mm to 19mm open end/box wrenches. Same for sockets. Fuel line clamps...a LOT of zip ties, extra couple master links.

And the normal extensions, pliers, magnet....etc.

I bought a cheapy black and decker plastic toobox from walmart. It has three separate compartments in top of the lid, two of which can be removed. It has a tray up top...and it's pretty deep. I think it cost around 10 bucks....
