Bansh-eman
well today i got my fake cashiers check for the basterd that bid on my swing arm... first thing when i took it out of the envelope was scrub it down and find the flaws... seems the paper used is the real deal from the bank printed... so i got online and tracked down the banks info... to my amazment there really was a bank .... so i got on the Better Business Bureau website and checked it out and its actually a well established bank.. so i call the bank and have them verify the fake.. well not to my suprise it was just that a fake...so i aske dif they needed me to send them the fake so they can do an investigation on it... i was told there is nothign they can do but to call the police or the fbi... so i called the local san diego police and they gave me the number to the postal inspector, the thing was sent from somewhere in the UK so now its in there hands, but go figure the basterds are off work 15 min before i call them... so monday im going on ship for 3 days... when i get back im going to take it to the inspectors and im also contacting the fbi... on a side note to my EXTREME amazment... i w3as slelling some appliances on craigs list and i got some fuker that sent me the exact same scam.. so i told him off and i havent heard back from him.... ill keep you guys updated if i get any more info... so you kids that think oh fuk it im going to cash the thing and pocket the money.... it doesnt work that way not only will the bank come after you fot the amount they gave you but you have to pay extra becsue it bounced... You gotta be careful with that too, because often times it will show at as cleared on your statement, but it will take another week or so to bounce around before coming back, and then they retract it. Had that happen to me, the MO showed as cleared, and then a week later the bank called me up, and said no it wasnt. I got beat for $200 or so like that on e-bay back when. Animalman294
It's really hard to tell if someone is screwing you, when selling things on e-bay, or anywhere else on the net for that matter. But i guess if you try and check with the bank first it will help..............
