Animalman294
Sand Mountain is alot bigger than it looks in that picture. Trust me it is worth the trip, its about 5-600 feet high and a mile or so long from one end to the other. Then there is all the bowls and hills on the back side of the mountain. Go take a look at it in google earth, and look at the side view....................
billybobby
Yeah just the pic of that hill looks like about ten of sand hollow's biggest hill. I told the wife trips to the little pecker dunes, St. Anthony's, Little Sahara and any others we can get to are happening this year and sand mountain looks pretty smooth March 31st. How busy is the mountain on the weekends and are there any good jumps?
ClimbAnyHill
Is this a direct fit in placement of the main jet or is there drill & tap involved? Thanks!
dajogejr
Oh no.... You tap a line into the float bowl, or break off the overflow tube in the bowl and connect the fuel line to it. Here's a rough picture of the ones I sold BKabina....sorry for the lousy pic, it was my camera phone. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=68863&hl=

How busy is the mountain on the weekends and are there any good jumps? It's usually not that busy on NON-holiday weekends,But sometimes there are more people there then expected. You can usually find a few jumps on the lower front side and on the back side ranging from 20 ft to 190 feet on the back. All depends on if you got the sack to go from one hill to the next hill Here is a pic looking at some of the mountain. And one of the hills we race on.

That gives me a better Idea on how this product is installed. So you're just re routing the fuel delivery straight thru dial a jet? Thanks again! Mullet Man
Ok, thanks.. That gives me a better Idea on how this product is installed. So you're just re routing the fuel delivery straight thru dial a jet? Thanks again! thats what i wondered also. if its an addon fuel delivery on top of main jets, or if it is a "stand alone" system (for lack of better wording)
Animalman294
You take the plug out from the bottom of the float bowl and hook the feed line to the dial a jet to that. Thunder Products tells you that once you get your jetting right then step down either one or two jet sizes. So, when you step down the dial a jet steps you back up where you were. Then if you need to adjust up or down in Main jet sizes you can. But the main fuel lines are still hooked up and being used, but the suction from the motor pulls the extra fuel through the dial a jet to compensate...............

It works in conjunction with your main jet...NOT instead of it. This is a must for the alky crowd due to the amount of fuel needed...it's not a HUGE deal on gas, but...could come in handy. Dave Moore sells a new design that I bought...you drill a spot for the barb in the fuel bowl, so you're not rising overflow into the motor if the floats stick. It also is supposed to atomize fuel better, too... We shall see....
Mullet Man
good info, thanks looks like this is similar to the power enrichment jets my oldman runs on his S&S 113. atleast in how they mount anyway...
ClimbAnyHill
Thanks for the info guys. I'm not running an alky setup, just pump but is handy for this also. I just put my carbs back together after removing TORS. I'll later be removing the airbox & go with different air filters so Dial A Jet would of saved me some work when I tear them down again. Good stuff here though. Thanks dajogejr & animaman294.
billybobby
I think I got it locked down for the 31st of march! That hill looks pretty mean and the sackel region is not going to be a problem. If you can swing a weekend of showin me around I can promise some good hits. Your hooter sounds like a beast and looks pretty slick as well. I think I got the wife some alternate plans so I should be good to go
