the kitis bout 150 bucks then you gotta buy arms atleast top ones so compare your cost .. it will be hard to find a frame cheaper with papers.. myself wouldnt buy a used frame without papers last thing you need is numbers to match a stolen bike and they take it from you when everything was yours but the frame...

i see frames all the time for 300 bucks with papers and cheaper with out , if i was going to buy without papers i would run the numbers first to make sure its not hot,

 

the extra money you spend on a newer frame is going to increase the worth of your banshee ,

 

say you had a 87 , now you get a 98 frame , thats a big difference in price

you are better off just buying a arm frame and switching your stuff over , thats what i did.

you can find a arm frames for a couple hundred ,

just my 2 cents

 

I find it easier to convert myself, but I can weld. I made my own parts from the metal store.
