'04limited Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 ok guys im gettin ready to order some new rear tires and i cant decide between the i razrs and the razr 2's any comments you guys have will be appreciated.im leanin toward the i razrs but not sure how they will last? Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 neither. ive run both and didnt like either. they are both heavy and too expensive. id go with the kenda knarlys or stock yfz450 tires. they are both lightweight and reasonable priced. they both hook well in all conditions and last a long time. bigboybanshee Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Definitely don't get the i-razr's...they hook good but have a terrible life span Quote

locogato11283 Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 loco are those the knarlys on your bike in the sig? what ever they are they look good yea they are. but mine are cut because i only use them for hillclimbin on my banshee. you dont wanna run cut tires on a play bike because theyll slide side to side way too easy. i have run uncut ones my 450 tho and they work well. i recently started running the stock yfz450 tires again. they work very well. i would recommend either tire for general purpose rising. mud, some sand, hard pack, rocky shit. they both work well for all that.
