By the way, you are aware that the RZ gearing is taller than the shees? Also, most people like the shee gearing but use the RZ shift forks. Shifting is 100% better. Bansh-eman Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 the shift forks shouldnt make that much of a differance if any for that matter... one of the main down falls of the banshee shifting is the star and shift shaft... not the forks... most shity thing with the forks is they are prone to bending if you shift clutcless... but other then that i want to say they are identical? but im not for sure... sykoman Posted January 18, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 I was just looking up the shift forks for both bike and the forks are identical but looks like the RZ uses pins over the forks that ride in the smaller shift drum.... in the pic the drum also looks longer and it has some extra pieces on the end.... are the drums and shift forks interchangeable.... I keep bending #2 shift forks which was why I was thinking I might have to change my cluster....so I was thinkin bout using th RZ for the taller gear....anyone done this? I would definitely suggest it if you have the time and can find a good rz transmission to put in there.
