Clutch Problem

Clutch was acting like it was slipping took it apart and have

2 broken steels.It's a hinson clutch and basket w/ hd srings.

Gonna order new fibers and steels just need to know what torq

for spring screws also how to tell if I adjusted the center screw

for the shaft correctly.

Spring bolt torque is 7.5-8 ft lbs. 7.5 i believe.

adjust the center screw until the lever on top of the case lines up with the arrows on the case in front of the sprocket area. I like to keep it alittle torward the stator side.
